Having grown up in London and lived internationally in Paris and New York, Paloma Blue founder, Ariana Stein has been long inspired by stylish travel, beach culture and the elegant glamour of the 70’s heyday. Today, with resort collections representing not just a season but clothes for a way of life, Ariana and joint Creative Director, Charlotte Lewis decided to create their own label to fulfill this niche.
Ariana and Charlotte met in Ibiza, over 5 years ago and bonded over their mutual love of resortwear and obsession of the Gypset lifestyle, that and a fascination of local hippy markets where they would shop to scout out one of a kind pieces. Their joint ambitions for a resortwear brand set the foundations for Paloma Blue. Merging Ariana’s background in fashion marketing and retail, her eye for original design and an understanding of contemporary lifestyle and with Charlotte’ background in luxury fashion and PR, Paloma Blue is a pitch perfect, destination label for beautifully crafted separates to take you from beach to city and day to night.
Focusing on key shapes, relaxed yet flattering silhouettes, luxurious fabrics with embellished detailing, the aesthetic combines timeless wearability with a contemporary, cool edge. Whilst, the streamlined use of ikat, floral and geometric patterns in a range of colours – bright, muted or clashing tones offers an exotic quality.
With a product offering of relaxed fit shorts styled with matching camisole tops with hand plaited shoulder straps, lightweight tapered pants and featherweight silk kimonos, all in luxurious sand washed silk, beautiful pieces that work independently and in combination, surpassing trends, in favour of creating a current but timeless wardrobe.
